Charter Communications Complaint - THE SINGLE WORST COMPANY I'VE WORKED WITH
This company has been to my home to repair Television five times. I purchased premium services and most of the time couldn't view premium cable shows. Their billing practices are exploitive. Get this:
It wasn't disclosed up front that each time you use their directory service, they charge you $1.79. Most of the workers speak very poor English (they sound like Americans). I've had to spell words, explain the name in detail (General Electric, Sony Pictures, etc.). Nine times out of ten they can't find the listing (The above are actual examples!). They still charge you the $1.79.
THE BEST WAY TO AVOID THIS RIP-OFF IS TO USE THE INTERNET. GOOGLE THEM NAME AND YOU'LL GET THE NUMBER. OR, USE A PHONE BOOK. ALL FREE.
Charter Communications is a company in bankruptcy and it ought to be a target of a class action law suit.
