Radio Shack Complaint - No refund without providing personal information
BOULDER, COLORADO -- I just returned a $6 phone cord to the Radio Shack in Boulder, CO. It was unopened. I had paid cash. In order to receive my refund I was required to give my first and last name, address and phone number. I protested and was given some story about having to do this so the item couldn't be returned to two different stores--as I pointed out if the first store had the item how could it be returned a second time...then I was told people were clever.
Is this even legal?
I probably won't return.
I have shopped at this store many times and received good service. Guess I just had never returned anything before.
