Home Depot Complaint - Home Depot - Special Orders - Delivery Dates - NEVER FULFILLED
August 14, 2009 ordered from Home Depot - Beavercreek, OH trex material. Never told that it is required to have a large order before Trex will deliver when placing our order. Told special order be in 7-10 Days. Read reviews, heard from other dissatisfied customers WE had to contact Home Depot on 8/20/09 and confronted them with this info - they said we will NOW place a large order, so your product will get in; however, after debating with several assist. mgrs stated they received fax on 8/17/09 that Trex would not deliver but Home Depot never contacted us or placed the large order on 8/17 - waited till we confronted them! When placed larger order on 8/20 said be in on 8/24 but they called on 8/21 said it will be delivered 8/25 and we AGAIN had to place call on 8/25 - then they said 8/26 now it is 8/27 and as of this writing truck never arrived. RUN DO NOT WALK - BUT RUN FROM HOME DEPOT - THEY DO NOT CARE - PLACE THE BLAME ON THE VENDORS - WILL NOT BE UPFRONT WHEN PLACING INITIAL ORDER, WILL NOT APPRISE CONSUMER OF NOTIFICATION - HAVE TO GET DEMANDING - CONTINUALLY CHANGES DELIVERY DATES - AND HOLDS UP PROJECT AND YOUR CONTRACTOR - which will now go to other jobs and then put you back in line - so project is delayed - contractor frustrated and consumer left with empty promises!! Forget contacting Corporate - e-mails go to foreign country and then processed back - phone calls get disconnected! Placed e-mail on 8/21 - finally got call on 8/26 but still no resolve -- said they are going to do the best they can - stated should have done it on 8/14 and now two weeks later!! WHERE'S OUR MATERIAL AT HOME DEPOT??????
