Federal Express Corporation Complaint - Slow Delivery
I ordered product over the phone through a reputable company to be delivered by Fed Ex cod domestic ground. The product was coming from New Hampshire and I live in Washington, on the west coast. I tracked the package with Fed Ex's tracking service over the internet and the package made it to Dupont Washington in 3 days which is only about 2 and half hours from my residence. Each day since then it said to be delivered next business day. I sat at home for 4 days waiting and finally called the toll free number and they told me that where I live is out of their contract area and that they only send a vehicle down to my area once a week on Thursdays. Now wouldn't you think that they would inform you of something like that on their tracking site? Now I've got cabin fever and we've had nothing but beautiful sunny warm weather, which is rare in the pacific Northwest even in the summer time, when I could have been out doing something. Forecast is rain tomorrow. It is supposed to be here today, I'm really not gonna get my hopes up. Still I'm afraid to leave just in case they do show up because they won't leave the package with anyone other than who the package is addressed to and if I'm not here then it will be another week.
I really think it's time Fed Ex hand their responsibilities over to UPS. They would have had my package delivered 6 days ago.
