Continental Airlines Informative - LOST OR STOLEN Baggage
DALLAS, TEXAS -- Continual Airlines
Attention: Gordon Bethune C.E.O,
I have written you before with no response!
I, Sandra, took a flight to Fort Lauderdale Florida April 24th on
Continental- Flight1448 Baggage claim # is CO 0005499246
From DFW thru Houston to Fort Lauderdale. I checked my luggage at DFW.
And never saw it again. I had it tagged with my flight # and the stateroom of the cruise ship plus my name and address was in the inside of the luggage. There was a piece of luggage that I thought was mine at the Continental baggage claim area. Someone took it off the carousel as hers; I said, I think that is mine. Turns out I was in error. I then put it with a pile of luggage that I thought was my classmates. (Someone posing) as a Red Cap asks me if the luggage was going to Maasdam, I said yes. He put it on a luggage cart and was out the front door. Know one checked the claim ticket. Vickie Hunter at the Baggage Claims office would not put pencil to paper to help me. Because she would not fill out a claim form, everyone else has denied my claim, including the travelers insurance. I really thought the bag would be in my stateroom when I got on the ship. I have pursued every avenue to try to find the luggage but have been unable to find it. I was on a cruise with my classmates from 1956 with nothing of my own. I made a reported to the Bower County Police department. When I returned from my cruise
My case # is BS04052530
Please review this report and consider the measure of security we enjoy at our airports. I would be pleased to have some Compensation.
Also my question is what kind of security is this? I was still in the terminal.
