Time Warner Cable Complaint - Intermittent signal loss: Phone and Internet
I used to have only a cable Internet service from Time Warner Cable, and it was Ok. Intermittent problems are not as noticeable when you only use Internet. Now I "upgraded" to full bundle TV + Internet + Telephone, and during the 6 weeks period since the upgrade I have lost phone signal at least 4 times (together with Internet connection of course). It is scary because telephone need to be always On for emrgencies. The Time Warner Cable customer sevice representative name Tom stated literally that they can do nothing about intermittent problems. They keep sending a "technician" (a high school dropout?) who simply replaces the modem and does not even know what you are talking about when you start discussing signal levels etc. This is UNACCEPTABLE for cable provider. I am going back to old good copper wired phone with AT&T - then I have a back up option with dial-up Internet if the cable internet is down again (which will happen for sure).
