Sears Complaint - Master Protection Plan
I bought a new house with warranties on all kitchen appliances from the previous owners. I was told to fax the receipts (which I did twice)and the warranty would be transferred into my name otherwise my range would not be fixed. Now I'm told by a supervisor (Laura) that if the previous owner does not call herself to transfer the appliances then I will have to pay. I already paid when I bought the house and have the original receipts and manuals left by the previous owners. I'm so mad that I was not told this months ago (what a waste of time), and now I have to bother the previous owners with this problem. ...that is if I can find them...if I can't find them to make a call to Sears then there is no waranty. The previous owners spent $800.00 to protect these appliances but I am sad to say that Sears is not the same great store that my grandparents shopped at. I should be compenstated thousands of dollars for all the frustration Sears is putting me through. I wish companies would stop giving consumers such a hard time when things go wrong...something has to change!
