Southwestvacations Complaint - Southwestvacations.com - made me unhappy
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- On July 3, I made reservation with SouthwesTVacations.com (The Mark Travel Corporation) for 3 nights to Las Vegas with free Cirque Du Soleil Ka show promotion.
The southwesTVacations web site stated that I’ll receive information on how to get free show tickets once I complete the purchase.
I received email confirmation of my purchase, but it didn’t mention anything about booking the show.
I figured it will be on the vacation package.
On July 25 (3 weeks later), finally I received my vacation packages. When I was checking on how to get free show tickets, it stated that the show reservation must be made by July 20.
It is already past! I signed on the show reservation site any way to see if I can make reservations.
But it no longer has the show we wanted to see and it didn't take any more show reservations.
I called southwesTVacations customer service to explain this problem of receiving package too late for the making show reservation and that website no longer display the show we wanted to see.
Customer representative explained to me that it is all based on the show availability by Hotel and she has nothing to do with it. She insist it is my fault that I didn’t make show reservation early enough.
I explained that how I can make show reservation unless I have known the show booking process that I didn’t know until I received the package today.
She said, the show booking information was sent by email and it is my fault for not following the instruction. But I never received such an email!
I complained to BBB. SouthwesTVacations (The Mark Travel Corporation) confirmed their show reservation email didn't work. But still insist it is not their problem because show was
complimentary. At the time of my vacation planning if I booked air and hotels directly, the cost would been cheaper. Only reason I used them despite higher price is show tickets.
Of course BBB took a side with the SouthwesTVacations and closed my case as satisfactory.
SouthwesTVacations (The Mark Travel Corporation) customer service representative didn't apologize for their mistake and never try to help me to fix their mistake. In my book they don't deserve any one's business.
