I switched from an old HP to a wireless Lexmark - what a mistake. While convenient once I got it to work, the machine eats ink. I can print very few pages per Lexmark ink cartridge. I even tried a Lexmark high volume cartridge, which lasted just slightly longer than the normal volume cartridge. The printer also did not recognize the high volume cartridge even though Lexmark made it, thus adding several steps to every print job.
Performance is fine, but cost of operating is extremely significant particularly compared to my old HP flatbed.
Lexmark, looks like you got me this time, but I will not use this printer for much longer and I will never purchase another Lexmark printer. Didn't any one ever tell you "trick me once, your fault, do it twice and its my fault". Lexmark will not get a second chance given how substantially inefficient this printer uses ink.
