Palm Complaint - Going way too far. - Toshiba 64 bit operating system with Vista

Review by Losing Faith on 2009-08-30
This is simply too much. Palm, Microsoft and Bluetooth have apparently teamed up to force users to adopt blue tooth. If you buy a new laptop with a 64 bit operating system and Vista, no one will tell you that it won't synch with anything using a USB connection.

No driver. someone is surpressing the creation of a driver. Palm is the biggest maker of PDA's, these have been synching using a USB connector for probably 10 years.

Suddenly you can't do that. No driver. No patches, no nothing. DOESN'T USB STAND FOR UNIVERSAL SERVICE BUS ????

This is an obvious marketing boondogle - this has all gone too far. Period.

Things change. Never assume electronics will stay the same just because you are comfortable with it. I am sure people felt the same way about 8 tracks.
