La-Z-Boy Incorporated Complaint - No Lift, No Recline - Luxury Lift Recliner
MONROE, MI -- My father bought the luxury lift recliner two years ago to help him recover from open heart surgery he had at the age of 96. In June of this year the chair froze and would not move. The end of September he will be 98 years old and we are still waiting for the chair to be repaired. He needs it for the lift capability and we have had nothing but the run around from the service people. A service man has come three times with the wrong part. This past Saturday we were promised the right part to fix the chair and the service person did not show up. I was told by the head of the service department it could be up to 10 weeks and if the chair could not be fixed it would not be replaced. He spend over $1400 on this chair, including and extended service agreement.
