Oakley Complaint - Oakley poor products and customer service
FOOTHILL RANCH, CALIFORNIA -- I have been a owner of OAKLEY products since 1995.
I have had several Styles of the M-Frame sunglasses.
Here is my mistake: I bought the M-Frames in 1995 and also bought several different lens's and the carrying case for the extra lenses. A short time after the warranty the frames started to crack. I called Oakely and had to buy a new and improved M-Frame and pay shipping. Then after the warranty expired I again had to buy a new set of frames. Now the Frames are broken again at the side piece where they make the frame SMALLER under the pierce of rubber that goes above the ear. I think they intentionally make this smaller under the rubber to hide it so it WILL BREAK. When I call they want me to send them in at my expense, so they can "evaluate them" then say "no we won't cover them pay us to either send them back to you or we will sell you a new M-Frame". I only used these sunglasses to Drive, it's not like I was abusing them.
Anyway, before you buy a Oakley product, look at the stress points, and see how they make them so they will eventually break!
