Traverlers Insurance Complaint - Traverlers insurance and rude case manager

Review by down but not beaten on 2009-09-01
They are terrible to work with and treat you horribly - I fell off a porch and had a neck injury while getting treatment for the injury I was infected with Hepatitis c. The doctors felt the source was the epidurals I received. All Travelers’ did thru out my case since the beginning was make me beg for approvals on treatment and medication for my neck injury, and denied many treatments the doctors ordered or scripts. The case manager is rude and extremly hard to work with.
They then sent me to their doctor twice IME. I was so sick during the IME my liver was shutting down with out knowing I had Hepatitis C. I was admitted to a local hospital the next day after the IME with liver failure. Some exam he said I was fine, I could not even talk straight. On the doctor report he stated it could not be used for exactly what they used it for.
So it has been a year long battle with no medial or income. NO medical treatment for the neck injury since they cut me off! They are uncaring and very rude and act superior and try anything to get you off the claim. I have wrote to the legislator and are sending all related docs to my State Represenive I am an American and will not stand to be treated like this any more!

If you got Hep C from infected medical equipment, you should get a lawyer and sue the provider. Same goes with the insurance company.
