NextRX Mail Order Pharmacy Complaint - Do not use NextRX mail order pharmacy!
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- My insurance, Anthem/Blue Cross sent me a letter saying my prescriptions would likely be cheaper if I used their mail order pharmacy NextRX (www.wellpointnextrx.com). I called to ask about my nasal spray. It's the generic for Flonase. I've been on it for two years and always paid less then $20. I've always had the generic. They said it would be $10 for a three-month supply. I gave them my credit card info and said they could contact my doctor for the prescription. Today I got Flonase and a bill stating they charged by credit card $227.30!! I never authorized this charge. I called them, and they said my doctor gave them a prescription for the name brand not the generic. I said they should have called me for my permission on this charge. They said they don't call people and that they never guaranteed they'd only charge my card $10. They won't let me send it back and won't give me a refund.
I spent all day on the phone with various people and my insurance, but they won't budge. Stay away from this scam, and do not give NextRX your credit card number!!
