Sears Complaint - Complaint Sears Internet Purchase
Placed an order on Sears.com for a TV. Paid for it, order showed availability at a local Sears and I requested store pickup. My charge card was charged, and I waited for an email verification of order completion. It never came. I made a total of 11 phone calls to get some answers as to why there was such a long delay, if the product was paid for. I guess that I failed the Sears security questions, about my address, and eye color???? so the order was held in security. My funds were charged, the TV was sold to someone else and I had to get a refund. Sears can't understand why I would be upset by this, and now I have to wait for the credit to show on my available balance. I can't understand how a multibillion dollar company can put a charge through for merchandise, then sell it to another customer and I have to request a refund??? Are you kidding me?? I guess on the website, Sears has the right to cancel any order. I have no problem with that, but then just put an authorization for that amount until the product is delivered, not a full charge. Because they choose to do business like this, I have to wait 2-3 business days for a refund when if it was just an authorization, the funds would be released quicker. I will NEVER do business with Sears again.
