Delta Airlines Complaint - Avoid At All Cost - Airline Flights
If you have another option choose another airline and pay more, because in the end you will be better off. Delta does absolutely nothing to help a customer if they have a problem with a flight/plane. The airline stranded my parents, bused them to another airport but managed to miss that flight too then finally my parents got booked on another airlines with an arrival time at midnight so the hotel shuttle wasn't running that late and they had to pay for a taxi. Total estimated travel time went from 7 hours to 18 hours, and they just don't care. My parents are 76 and 82 and were expected to drag their checked-in bags around both airports. Of course this was after Delta took their money for checking in the bags and never got to use it. No compensation from Delta at all. They wouldn't even let them try to stay in San Jose and take the same flight out the next day and there were seats available on it. Apparently they just don't care for their customers. We paid more for my parents to be on the Delta flight than the United flights because we wanted a bigger plane and shorter travel time. Now they are on flights we could have booked for $200 less per person if we wanted to take all day to get to Savannah.
Again no willingness to make the situation right and no customer service. There wasn't even a Delta person at the airport to meet them when they got off the bus. They were left to vend for themselves and then figure out what to do when they saw the rebooked flight had already left.
There are better airlines out there. Use of them and have a more pleasant and enjoyable trip. United is the airlines that finally got them to Savannah.
