Joe Romano Chevrolet Complaint - Failure to honor warranty at Joe Romano Chevrolet Syracuse NY

Review by Alan H on 2009-09-02
SYRACUSE, NEW YORK -- We had a breakdown in Syracuse NY and had the van worked on at Joe Romano Chevrolet. All work had a 12 month warranty. Four days later after arriving back in Reading, PA, truck would not start. A new starter was one the things we had replaced at that dealership in Syracuse. We were towed to the GMC dealership in Reading, PA and found starter was defective and was replaced with the proper starter from General Motors. Joe Romano Chevrolet asked for the bill from our dealership and the faulty starter to be sent to them which was done over a month ago. We are still waiting for a credit or check for the vaulty starter they installed. Joe Romano says they "treat our customers like family". Glad they are not in our immediate family. I would not suggest anyone to buy or get work done by that agency. We are now out two repair bills for the starter that should have been done right the first time. (we are waiting six weeks so far for our credit) They don't even return calls at this point.
