Cox Communications Inc Complaint - You don't get what you paid for
ORANGE COUNTY, TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA -- My husband ordered the cable/internet bundle for our new home. We were told that the cable guy is coming on the Monday. Went ahead and waited for the cable guy but he just told us that he already opened the line...well, the cable modem has not arrived in the mail...(with Warner cable, they have the unit, came to your place and the next day you ordered the cable and internet). So, now, we are to put it together...that is fine, the next day the modem arrived but this time, tons of cable-looking wires are sticking out from the wall we do not know which is which. Obviously, cable guy needs to come. Good thing my husband figured out which. Then the internet modem was not around. REalizing it wasn't in the box (we gave them the benefit of the doubt that it just got lost beneath all our stuff since we are moving in), we called COx and lo, and behold we were informed we have to buy modem separately...(with WArner cable, they have everything cable wires, modem etc. 24 hour service and to top it all I only pay $54.00 for all of these wonderful services!) Too bad I moved to a place that is monopolized by Cox...believed to be better but the service JUST STINKS. Internet does not work because apparently, we could not find the cable line for it. So now we have to camm a technician of which we have to pay extra for coming out, He better make this work or I will be really pissed off and I will tell everybody about their poor customer service...as it stands it is already bad...go find a way to get something else if you have a choice.
