Qwest Complaint - Qwest charged $100 + $12.00(tax) for Technician visit even when I told that there is no issues in my equipment.
I had a very serious issue in my QWEST connection. The speed was just 32kbps. So I called technical support and they told that they will send a technician. The technician called me to my office and told that the connection seems to be no issue but I need to test your equipment. QWEST TECHNICIAN DIDN'T TELL ME THAT I WILL BE CHARGED. I told that my router is working perfect as I tested it myself. The technician insisted that he will need to verify that. so he asked me to come. As my office was near my APARTMENT, I stopped by and opened the apartment door. He came in checked and told that my router and modem is fine, the issue is in the APARTMENT (note: Apartment) wiring.(HOW THE HECK DO I KNOW THIS, WHY DID HE WANT TO TEST MY ROUTER WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT ITS WORKING FINE ??). They charged me $100 in my next bill and $12.00 tax. When I called customer service, they told me that you can pay half the price .. which is $100/2 = $50 .. is that ok with you ?. I told them to cancel the service. I DROPPED QWEST SERVICE AND WENT FOR COX as soon as I can. I WON'T Recommend QWEST to Anyone. I live in Tempe near ASU. Please be careful with QWEST. Don't loose your hard earned dollars.. I still can't digest just paying $100 for nothing.. THE ISSUE WAS NOT FIXED TILL TODAY AS IT WAS INSIDE THE APARTMENT LINE. I moved to a new apartment.
