J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Complaint - Customer Service Sucks
COLORADO -- I received a bill in the mail and it said that I have a late payment so they were going to charge me for a late fee. Well I never received a bill for the month prior so why should I be charged a late fee when they never sent me a bill. I called and got a lady with a strong accent that I could not understand and she was rude and hung up on me. I called again and was told I would have to pay right then and there over the phone. I don't like giving credit card info over the phone so I said I would mail a payment out the next day. I have never been late on my payments and have been a loyal customer to the store, spending a lot of money. I went into the store to try and purchase some clothes with my card and they put a freeze on my card. I called and talked to someone who would not unfreeze it and asked to speak with a manager. Guess what, I was put on hold and no one ever talked to me again. I waited for about 10 minutes and then hung up. This is how they treat their customers. You don't send me a bill and then freeze my card because I wouldn't pay over the phone. I will be taking my money elsewhere, I could not believe this is how they treat customers.
