Continental Airlines Complaint - Gift Certificates are worthless
Last Christmas, my sister and I chose to purchase Continential Airlines Gift Certificates for our father who lives thousands of miles away. We thought that this would be a good way to help reduce the high cost for him to come to see his children. However, a few weeks ago, when he tried to use them, he found out that he is only able to use one at a time. He was told when he called the Customer Service Department that he was able to get a refund. When I tried to get my money back for the price of the two gift certificates that I purchased, I was not able to do so because of the terms and conditions. So, now Continential Airlines has our money, we have three worthless gift certificates, and we have no way of getting our money back.
