Best Buy Complaint - Best Buy Geek Squad Service
SAINT LOUIS, MO -- The power source on my Dell was broken, so I took it to Geek Squad to be repaired. They said I needed a new motherboard, which cost around $500 to replace. I accepted their service and got a new motherboard, and paid the $500 because I love my computer. I picked it up from them and the computer kept randomly shutting down, and after about a week would only turn on for about 5 minutes. whatever they did, they did not repair my computer. I took it back to best buy; they kept "shipping it out" to the man who repaired it. They said they ran diagnostic tests on it and there was nothing wrong. I sent it back to Best Buy about 6 times over the course of 3 or 4 months. They would never repair my computer. So I took it to another repair center, who said that they installed a faulty motherboard. I got the motherboard replaced, and now I am still having the same problem with my powersource, and I've spent over $1000 to have my computer repaired! It really angers me that Best Buy would not even acknowledge that they installed a bad motherboard, and that now I have wasted about a thousand dollars on repairs that did not even help my computer. I think they are fraudulent, and I really hope one day that someone can acknowledge this!!!!
