Spirit Airlines Complaint - Poor Customer Service
My exhusband had to fly into Orlando FL because our son was in an serious car accident. After arriving, he realized that he needed to stay another day to provide additional help for our son.
Spirit Airlines said they "understand" the situation however it would cost us $99.40 to change the flight ONE day. We could go online and purchase a flight for $79 one way.
So, as our son lay in a hospital bed, we have to tangle with an airline that claims they cannot do any better for us. Even after inquiring as to any special provisions that the airline may have for family emergency situations.
The Spirit representative (Uday) who claimed to be a manager was NOT very cooperative and insisted that nothing could be done.
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and Spirit Airlines will forever lose our family's business.
