CASA GRANDE, ARIZONA -- DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE 'CROOKS'. Our experience is as follows... Ordered critically necessary motor in Jan. 2009. It was installed and made noise, got hot and filled the house with smoke. Our service guy removed it and contacted 'Richard' at FamousParts.com. He was required to purchase ANOTHER motor and was assured as soon as the defective motor was received a credit would be issued. The service guy returned the motor the SAME EXACT day that FamousParts.com shipped the replacement motor. After receiving confirmation of delivery the credit was not issued. Service guy contacted FamousParts.com and spoke with 'Rich' who assured him he would look into it and a credit would be issued. Never happened. Six months later after disputing this with our credit card company they sent a note indicating that they were 'in the process of returning' the motor to the service guy. I spoke with 'Rich' in July and he again assured that he understood the situation and a credit would be issued to our account after receiving a fax indicating that we would accept a reduced credit. The fax was sent. Again no credit. Nearly eight months later and they will now put on hold and hang up. We have reported this unethical company to the Attorney General of our state. The Attorney General, after reviewing twenty-something documents that chronicle this HORRIC EXPERIENCE has elected to take on this fight for us. During this time we are also consulting an attorney to see other avenues of reporting this despicable company. If you have had a similar experience I would urge you to report this company to any agency that has influence. DON'T LET THEM WIN!!!!
