Target Complaint - Target Mgr in Queens Bias toward pregnant women!
What type of customer service policy does target have that would allow someone who introduced herself as the “store manager on duty” to lock the doors to the top floor (nearly 10 minutes before closing) without letting the customers still shopping or paying for their items know? And when I tried to ask her to open the doors so I could exit with my two heavy storage boxes filled with my purchases, she refused and became nasty. She told me to go downstairs walk to the elevator (about 300 feet) with my purchases that I could not lift and take the elevator to the top floor of the garage.
Trying to explain I could not lift the boxes alone because they were too heavy in my condition she said she would allow me to take the cart out of the store. I then asked if the cart would lock up and she replayed "no I promise". I then begun making my way to the elevator exiting about 100feet outside the store she quickly closed the last gait as the cart locked. Her and the "security guard" then just shrugged their shoulders and smiled while I was stuck in the first floor parking entry with no way to get me and my purchases out until I called the police for help, who showed up nearly 50 minutes latter telling me that I should make a consumer complaint and send a letter to the company. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of dignity that individuals wearing the title "manager" of Target has. The company should be ashamed in this economy to hire such rubbish. I do not plan to shop at this company again as I do not feel like supporting this type of discrimination and absurdity.
