Target Complaint - UNAWARE
Have been a red card holder since 2005, then offered target Visa with a $1000 line of credit. I was paying along, no issues. Then loss of income for a few months(economy) I paid what I could. Then I made a plan and that was good. We all agreed. Then after a while I was informed afterwards, they stopped my credit. So I called and asked why, as I got an email to contact them. There was about a 5 day time frame. From what I gathered I forgot my payment the previous month, so the credit line was ceased.
I made a deal to pay an amount for several months on a certain date. I asked if I could have my credit restored after, was told no don't think so.
I guess it's my fault I've lost work hours, for weeks at a time. It has been 2-3 months no income. But apparently Target like most credit card companies, all in it for the money and care nothing about their customers.
I was ill and didn't have my card so called the 800 # and she said well I can do a check for you. Ok. This was the 3rd which was when its due. I saw on my bank statement the check was dated the 5th. I explained it was important for this to be shown today(3rd) and no problem.
So I am truly upset. I hope this doesn't screw up my deal with them. Why can't customer service do what they're asked. What is so hard?
