Bank of America Complaint - Bank of America is itching for another class action lawsuit
It is no secret now that bank of America was hit by a class action lawsuit due to the way it handles its Over draft fees. For instance, they manually or otherwise pay your largest item first, deplete your account than charge you $35 for every item afterwards.
After they paid out $35 million in settlement fees, they did the same thing to my account that caused them to be sued in the first place.
I had a low balance but enough money to pay two of the three transactions that posted that night.
To my surprise, bank of America presented the highest transaction first, depleted my account and charged me 3 over draft fees or $105 of my hard earned money.
I called their customer service, reminded their representative by the name of robert of the reason for the class action lawsuit and advised him that they need to refund two of the three over draft fees
as I had enough to pay two of the three transactions.
This genius reply was that they settled the lawsuit because it was cheaper than fighting it.
What an idiot. Cheaper to pay $35 million in fines than pay a couple of attorneys few thousands dollars.
Anyways, I say bank of America has not learned their lesson and I am making it my mission to have them sued again for the same reason they were sued the first time.
It sucks when you don't learn your lesson the first time bank of america.
