Dish Network Complaint - Terrible Customer Service from Start to Finish
I had Dish Network 7 years ago, and switched to Direct TV for 2 years. Dish did the original wiring; Direct TV did nothing. I have 4 TV's and 4 receivers. I decided to go back to Dish and explained the setup to Dish TV. When the tech came out to install the Dish service, he said that he was not experienced enough to do the installation because it would require converting the 4-receiver wiring to 2-receiver wiring. (Dish TV now does 2 TV's per receiver.) He said a more experienced tech would have to come. I was supposed to reschedule. When I called Dish TV, I told them that it was poor customer service to send techs out who couldn't handle existing setups. I couldn't be the first person who was hooked up like that. "Sorry -- you'll have to reschedule for a week from now." When I talked to a manager, I suggested that Dish send somebody out the following day since their incompetence caused me to waste a day. "No -- that's not how it works -- do you want to reschedule or not?" Very condescending. No accountability. Dish TV talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.
