Tadd Liquidators Complaint - Everything for 99 cents - tools, cameras, telephones, etc.

tools, cameras, telephones, etc. - Complaint
Review by damnthescam on 2009-09-15
LEBANON, TENNESSEE -- Tadd Liquidators is a E-bay company that lists all its merchandise for. 99. people believe they are buying from a large warehouse in Lebanon, Tennessee. Most people buy the items for. 99 and believe they are getting a great deal.

But wait!

The kicker is the tremendous shipping charges! some as high as 100.00. They claim that if you decide to pick it up at their warehouse in Tennesse the shipping charge is only 30% of the original shipping charge.

So found their location site with a satellite view of the supposed huge warehouse in Tennesse.

Somewhere on Forrest(Gump) St. I say Gump because when you find out as you zero in on the satellite picture on their warehouse you find it located in a residential neighborhood that has no warehouse, nothing but a non-descript house on Forrest St. in Lebanon, Tennessee.

The truly hilarious part of their pick-up is they state they are not responsible for construction sites or highway work causing you to not reach their gigantic warehouse in boonville. I truly cannot believe that E-bay allows this blatant fraud to go on unchecked!

Their complaint department is as fraudulent as Tadd Liquidators. I would surmise their true location to be in India. The equipment they sell looks like it is cheap replica of a cheap replica.

I truly now understand how we in America are being undetermined by up and coming 3rd world countries who believe they can swindle the hapless American citizen.

The computer has become a machine of mass confusion and fraud. Any Tom, Dick or Ranjon can attempt a fraud.

I as an American citizen am appalled by the total lack of concern for this mass fraud.

Amen

Not located in India but at 1317 Winter Drive Lebanon, TN. The other address in Forrest St. appears to be their auction house.

There are E-Bay policies against low balling the price and padding shipping, and this is blatant, agreed. In fact, you say you have complained to E-Bay? I would expect them to be concerned. E-bay has policies to protect themselves as much as anybody, considering listing fees and final value fees are based on the price, not total costs with shipping. So they are getting screwed. Plus, why would there still be a shipping charge if you pick it up? This is a bad business practice, against E-Bay rules, and should be exposed.

With the Israeli's constantly bombing their warehouse in Lebanon, I feel they are entitled to some extra fees here and there.

Slim, many Ebay users have B&M stores. We did. And yes, if an item was picked up in the store instead of shipped, there was a pick up fee. The employees in the store did not get paid to pass out Ebay items. They got paid to run the store. If you pick up, it is a convenience that you pay for.
