Best Buy Complaint - Dryer Vent
We purchased an LG front load washer and dryer from Best Buy and we were told that the dryer can be either back vent or right side vent. We needed the right side vent. So we had the employee pull out the dryer to double check it can right side vent. It did there was a notch pop out. We asked how it's done we were told don't worry about that they do it when it's installed. My husband asked if they were sure and a manager at the store verifed that yes they do it during installation. It's included in the installation. It was delivered today, we refused the dryer because it wasn't set up as right side vent and the delivery person said the warehouse was suppose to do it. We were notified it was an error on the stores part. No one does it, it's your responsiblity. They apologized for the error but said there was nothing futher they could do. I believe they should off set the cost of paying a tech to make the dryer a right side vent. So I have a new washer, no dryer and they plan on redelivering it on Saturday. I have been w/o a dryer since Labor Day. Seriously disappointed. The good price got us in the store, the prepurchase customer service was great so we bought, postpurchase customer service is horrible.
