United Airlines Complaint - United Airlines gave away our seats!!
ELK GROVE TOWNSHIP, ILLINOIS -- We were on our vacation and were running to catch our connecting flight in Chicago O'Hare Airport. We had our boarding passes and were on the plane and they asked us to leave as our seats were taken, telling us we needed to talk to the ticketing counter!!! As we were talking to them, the plane that we bought tickets for takes off! We had tickets and were told by their customer service people that the flight was overbooke or over the weightlimit(we are small people, except that I am pregnant!!. W had to wait 3.5 hours for the next flight with no compensation at all. We called United Customer Service and were hung up on 3 times while explaining the situation. They have absolutely no customer service skills. The flight that they bumped us too was overbooked and they were offering vouchers for people willing to give up their seats. Seems unfair- you can willingly give up your seat for a voucher or they can take your seats from you and just tell you "Too bad." I would not recommend United at all.
