American Home Shield - Home Warranty Complaint - Poor Service, Disregard for the client
LAGRANGE, GEORGIA -- I purchased the hom appliance warranty package from American Home Shield (AHS). On the very first claim - Dishwasher not draining - AHS sent in one of their network service providers and he was in and out ofthe house in 5 minutes. Of course he collected the $60 deductible. He told us that a part was needed and thathe would order it and be back in 5 days. Four days later, he reports to AHS that the part was damaged due to water sedimentation and hence not covered by the warranty. I ca;lled AHS to explain and they agreed with their service contractor and offered to send in another contractor, of course for another $60 fee. This after two weeks of not getting a clear response from either AHS or their vendor.
I had my appliance repaired by a local service contractor and duly cancelled the contract.
WORST SERVICE PROVIDER AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BY AHS.
