Home Depot Complaint - Typical Corporate B.S. Management
PICAYUNE, MISSISSIPPI -- My wife, a beautiful, vivacious, customer service oriented and dedicated employee of Home Depot was recently laid off because of "Reduction of Force".
(How's that "Hope and Change" workin' out for y'all?)
The reason she was picked [she was told] was because she was there a shorter amount of time than the others in her department (Front End / Cashiers).
The Store Manager had no say in the matter some A-Hole from corporate office made the decision (sound kinda like the Government Huh?).
The Store Manager and Assistant Manager were both very upset as Linda (My Wife) is the best performer in her department, going far above her duties to provide customer service and department management. She also is credited with signing over half of the credit card accounts for this Home Depot.
So let me get this right: Work hard, learn your job, go above and beyond, have all your customers love you and get LAID OFF! or just get by doing the least you can, get over when you can, disobey store policies but just as long as you have been there longer than the worker that produces above and beyond you get to keep your job!
Now I know! I have been doing it wrong all these years! No wonder I haven't made in corporate Management!
I guess Corporate Mangement is the same oxiMORON as Honest Government!
We are securing the services of a Lawyer and plan to sue for "Wrongful Termination" on the grounds of Merit and Discrimination! (My Wife is Asian).
