Wendy's Complaint - Order Problem - Food Service
Resolution Update on 01/29/2011:
A change in management and personnel at this Wendy's has led to better service 1/28/2011.
HOMESTEAD, PENNSYLVANIA -- I've tried to work with the folks at the Homestead, PA Wendy's, but they just can't seem to get my orders straight. They've continually left off the cheese on my burger when I've requested and paid for it(7 times in the last 3 months). I call the manager, they say come down for a reimbursement (that's good, but it's gotten old) and I just have to accept the fact they don't like putting cheese on the burger. I tried ordering a number 2 (double with cheese) to see if that helped. They charged me for the 2 and gave me a single (number 1) with no cheese. Folks, I can't open and check the burger in the drive thru lane with hungry people behind me. McD's is a little further drive, but they've never given me a wrong order yet so they've got my business. By the way, the wife, Mother-in-law and I have been going to this Wendy's after church on Saturday every week for about 4 years now. So at an average order of $25/week for 50 weeks (two weeks subtracted for vacation), you lost, um, $1,250 per year worth of orders. Pity.
