Nissan Complaint - Customer Service - Altima
ST. ROSE, LOUISIANA -- In late April I bought a 2005 Nissan Altima. The dealership that I purchased it from was a nightmare. I still haven't received the promotional free cruise for 2 that I was suppose to get when I purchased the car. But the real reason I am writing is because on June 6th I wrecked my car. I was told that it would take approximately 3 weeks for my car to be fixed. Here it is July 12th and my car is still not fixed. They are having trouble getting a part to fix my car. I am now being told that the parts are scheduled to be shipped in the middle of July. My insurance only pays for a rental car for 30 days and Nissan will not get me a loaner car since it was due to an accident. I feel that this is unreasonable to wait this long. It is for a 2005...which is being manufactured daily and shipped to dealerships. All that they need to do is call one of the Nissan plants and get the part shipped to the body shop to have my car (which is paid for..I financed through my credit union) repaired. I am in desparate need of a car to get to work but they won't authorize one. The parts coordinator was rude and when I asked for his supervisor he told me that he was the supervisor. The only alternative I have is to write to the executive office. I am not sure he even gave me the right address.
