Best Buy Complaint - Bonus items ordered via Bestbuy.com
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- Over the 9 months, I have placed three different orders that promised a "bonus item" to be delivered free of charge.
The first was an accessory kit for a Gameboy SE which was valued at $15. The Gameboy was delivered but the order for the accessory kit was canceled! Emails were met with nebulous responses that the order was canceled and no longer in stock. Calls were handled with a "pass-the-buck mentality". WHAT A RIPOFF. I wish I had the time to pursue this in court!
The next item was a bonus book to be delived with a Schindler's List DVD. Bestbuy.com said the book was out of stock but would be delivered within four weeks. That was four months ago. No book. WHAT A RIPOFF.
The third (and FINAL) item was a Stone Cold Classis CD as a bonus when I ordered the Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon CD. They emailed saying both were sent. You guessed it... the bonus CD was not in the box with the Pink Floyd CD. WHAT A RIPOFF.
I have had enough. I am a great customer. I have purchased several large items (including a 36" flatscreen TV) from Bestbuy. Enough is enough... Three strikes and YOU'RE OUT Bestbuy. I will spend my money elsewhere and warn all my friends and associates about how you treat your "valuable customers".
