FM Inxc. Complaint - Computer battery for 9000 HP computer

Review by Fitzgerald on 2009-09-20
I sent my computer to be fixed at HP for a recall on a bad hinge on my notebook. After waiting for it for many months. I received it and it was delivered to me with a bad battery. They sent me another battery which over heated and caused a fire at my office. I then checked on line and found the battery they sent me was recalled because it was a defective battery. I sent the computer back to them in one melted mess and they kept it for a few months and then told me the computer was not the cause of the fire. I told them I walked into my office and saw the flames coming up through the key board. They denied my claim. I will never buy a computer from them again. They sell nothing but junk. If you own a HP DV 9000 series I suggest you find out about the battery before you have a fire in your house.

The battery manufacturer should buy you a new laptop. It was the battery that caused the fire.
