Lowrance Complaint - Placing defective product on market

I purchased a Lowrence HDS-7 graph In April. It didn't work right out of the box. The store that I purchased it from replaced the unit after a month. The second unit lasted two weeks. It leaks, powers up on its own and finally crashes. The store I purchased it from could not help me on the second unit since they have had forty returns. That is in Brainerd a town of 12,000. Lowrance has my unit for a month now, durning the best fishing of the year. Lowrance has screwed me out of $1200. Even if they fix it, it will always be junk until the warranty runs out. It costs $25 to ship it each time.

Since the product appears to have some sort of defect from the mfr, can you contact them and request a refund instead of the continual cycle of return and repair?
