PROVO, UTAH -- A web design company was deducting payments from my account without authorization. I have not signed an agreement with them. I discovered a $3300 deficit. I discovered this company had been making withdrawals against my explicit instructions not to. I contacted the company and told them to cancel my account and refund my money. I received an mail stating they were granting my request and to allow 72 hours for processing. That time has long past and when I call them to complain, they only say your request is in process.

I did a search for "complaints heritage web design" and received > 100,000 hits.

Send a certified letter to the company outlining your request for an immediate refund within a specified amount of time. If you don't receive your refund, file a dispute with your bank and/or file a case in small claims court.

How are they taking your money unless you gave them access to your account? What kind of explicit instructions? Did they design a site for you and you think you don't have to pay?

If they're still taking money out... and it's for the same amount... see if you can do a stop pay with your bank.
