Napleton Mazda in Schaumburg, IL Complaint - Poor Service - Mazda 3 Sales
SCHAUMBURG, ILLINOIS -- I was so frustrated today and it stems with the purchase I made in January of 2009, my used Mazda 3 hatchback. I had been in an accident with a previous Mazda 3, loved it and knew I just wanted another one.
On Autotrader, we saw Napleton had exactly what I was looking for. During the process of buying we were shuffled through rather quickly, but it really was a nice car! So my husband and I jumped on it and purchased it.
The problem with the car happened today (9 months later). I went to get two new front tires on my car. Made it to Goodyear and it turns out that the car has after-market tires and rims on it, which needs a special "key" so they can be replaced. There was NO mention of this when we purchased the car at all. Needless to say, no talk and no key was ever given to us. I immediately called Napleton to see what they could do for us. We purchased in IL, but we live in Milwaukee WI! The three different people I was bounced to and from during the phone call were all very RUDE & UNHELPFUL. They offered NO solutions to my problem. One gentleman (make that rudeman) told me that they probably bought it from an auction and that they were never given a key to even give to me. My retort was that I should have been made aware of that during the point of purchase. He had not a thing to say to that. He said he couldn't help me.
DO NOT GO TO NAPLETON! You may think you are getting a great car, but if you don't know the right questions to ask, you may leave the lot a very unhappy customer---even months down the road. BEWARE!
