A & W Complaint - Are you listening? - Food Order

First we pull up to the drive-through and start to order, we ordered a grilled chicken club, and the order taker asks if that will be all, and we said no. So what does she do, she turns her headset off. So we have to drive around to the window and inform her again that we were not finished. So we tell her what we want, she never asked what size drink, and gave us a large, I wanted small. Than she rang us up for a fish sandwich we never ordered. So she gives us our receipt, than we tell her she made a mistake, and than the manager fixed it for us.

Maybe she's (the order taker) a new hire.

Regardless of the drive through person, at least you got your order fixed.

While the order taker didn't handle things professionally the manager did fix the situation without hassle. Good job A&W Manager!

Miscommunication would be my guess. Even in the 21st century drive through communications are still primitive.

I've worked a drive through before, and it's very hard to hear through the headset sometimes. and at least you got your order fixed by a manager which sounded like it was no hassle at all. what is the big complaint?
