PDS Complaint - Sure Clip sold on TV

Review by duofusion on 2009-09-23
On TV the Sure Clip is being sold for $10.00. Included in the offer for the Sure Clip is a second Sure Clip, foot cream, nail buffer block, lithium battery, and case. There is double of everything all for the price of $10.00. When I received the bill, the bill priced out at:

Shipping/Handling $21.96
Sales Tax $4.41
Total $56.35

I have no idea how a $10.00 purchase can expand to be $56.35.

There is no way I can contact PDS because there is no email address or URL or contact information for them. Every email says it does not receive email and only sends it.

This smacks of fraud to me and needs some legal interest for it.

I found a web site that covers PDS, which is the company hawking the Sure Clip. It contains a listing of some of the people who were sucked into this scam the same way I was; and the comments resemble mine. Obviously, there is no oversight on the PDS TV ads, because the PDS company is still busily selling that product on TV.

Where do I go with this kind of operation? I thought the US Post Master General. However, I cannot find any way to contact him.

Disgruntled and stumped.

It clearly states on their website, "free bonus gift" (just pay separate processing and handling charges) They have a 30 return policy so if you're unhappy, return the product for a refund though I doubt you'll get your P&H charges back.
