Companion Booking.com Complaint - A useless "perk"

Review by madmudlady on 2009-09-24
I received this certificate for opening a business account at Wells Fargo. Not only are the destinations limited, but the base fares are exorbitant, the available seats minimal and random black out dates are applied. I'm trying to use this for my daughter and a friend to fly home for a college break and it is almost as expensive as booking 2 full fares through Orbitz or Priceline and provides fewer options for dates and times of travel. Don't let this "perk" persuade you to do business you might not otherwise do.

Thanks for the info.

Yes. Unfortunately people who get these free perks try to use them for spring break, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Do you really think an airline will take a discounted fare during the times they know the aircraft will be full and that they charged higher fares for those seats? Get real. Those certs are for off-season (Tues/Wed.), and although off-season, seats are still limited.

Even when it is free people complain just because it isn't they free way they want it.

Do your research and you will find that the company is in chapter 11 bankruptcy and filled Dec. 18. 2013, and is hidden within 2 companies!
