Sears Complaint - Misleading Website - Don't trust Sears/Kmart delivery times
I am appalled by the Sears/Kmart website. BOTTOM LINE: Don't trust the delivery times stated on their website.
I purchased a television and paid additional money to have it expedited. The website gives a range of dates for standard shipping, but gives specific days of arrival with their expedited and premium shipping.
Well, apparently those dates are meaningless. When I called to complain I was told they were estimates only and I was essentially told by customer service that I was naive for believing the dates on THEIR OWN WEBSITE.
To be fair, they did refund the difference between standard and expedited shipping, but it wasn't easy to get there. I was told that it was unreasonable for me to think that the date that they provided on their website for delivery would be accurate!
I've never seen a company treat consumers this way. Kmart/Sears has lost my business and I encourage you to look anywhere else first.
