Franklin Covey Complaint - Don't expect Franklin Covey to deliver orders.

I ordered a day planner and items to go with it on September 3. I wanted it in a hurry so I requested 2 day mail. On September 4 I checked the status of my order on their web site. It didn't show up but the web site said it could take 24 hours for orders to show up. Over the Labor Day weekend it did not show up. On Tuesday after Labor Day it still did not show so I called their customer service number. After almost 20 minutes of waiting and hearing how important I was to them I got hold of someone. He explained to me that the item was discontinued even though it showed as available on the web site. I then asked why no one informed me of this after five days. He gave me a line about a new computer system. There was no apology or any attempt to fix the problem. Of course the email I sent to the company complaining about the service went unanswered. I then went to Day Timer and had an excellent experience.

I've been using Franklin for too many years to count. Unfortunately, they close their store in my town. I'm looking for another system for next year as I like to deal with a business that supports local employment and customers.

I usually order mine from a local office supply store.
