Select Comfort Corporation Complaint - Do NOT Buy a Sleep Number Bed

Review by NeverBuySleepNumber on 2009-09-28
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA -- DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BUY A BED FROM THIS COMPANY. We purchased a Sleep Number bed about four years ago. About two years ago, the original pump failed and Select Comfort shipped us a new pump. Now, just four years after we bought our bed (and only two years after we received the replacement pump), our pump has again failed. Instead of having to pay a prorated amount for a new (or less expensive, refurbished) replacement for our four-hoses, two-wired-controllers pump, Select Comfort forced us to upgrade to a more expensive, two-hoses, one-remote-controller pump … and then shipped us a damaged, refurbished pump instead of a new pump! This company does not deserve to be in business!

Does that pump at least work?

I was just going to ask the same question, regarding the pump.

Is bed comfortable, when the pump works?? Those beds are very expensive.

If/when the pump works (and you do not mind spending a few hundred dollars every time you need to replace a pump), the two-zone bed is a joke ... unless you enjoy sleeping in a valley with a hill between you and your partner's valley.
