Best Buy Complaint - WORSE BUY----far from best buy
I had purchased CDs on and off at best buy....Recently I have received some as gifts from best buy...not wanting to hurt the giver's feelings I did not let them know I had them...I figure I can return them get others I have not purchased and all would be good....Right? I could have not been further from the truth. I did not expect to get money back I would expect they would either allow me to echange for other CDs or get a store credit...since I did not have a receipt. When I get to the counter I was asked if I had a receipt I stated no they are a gift but I have duplicates...Now they do a search on the system based only on my name...here where the problem occurred...now based on my name...GEEZE in my family only I am 1 out of 5 let alone the in the US...they stated I had purchased these out of the 14 day time period based on my reward card....
1) I do not sign up for reward cards ever...these companies sell/share information I do not need more junk mail.
2) How can you even tell it was me based on my name? DUH I told you already I bought these before....thus they are duplicates and I am not the one who purchased them ...they are a gift..
Needless to say I can't get thru the dumb found idiots at the customer service or NO SERVICE desk.
I call the corporate office only to find out that CUSTOMER SERVICE is not part of BEST BUY policy...I was told point blank...my best bet was to wait to speak to the manager at the time...because...I quote "No other person will bother to call back because that is not their day to day job".....
As a consumer I do not care what your title is....you could be the cleaning crew but your JOB and should be 1 priority...CUSTOMER SERVICE
I refuse to ever shop at WORSE BUY...
