Home Depot Complaint - Ridiculous Policy - Customer care
This review is to inform all about a HD poor customer care policy. I did an online order for a tile wet saw from HD for some projects around the house. It shipped quickly enough from HD after I ordered it but they sent it to the wrong address. After reviewing the order tracking information, I informed HD that this has been sent to the wrong address, they told me not to worry it will be resolved, a day later I got a call from HD saying that the saw was delivered at the wrong address and that the person who they sent it to will have to send it back. They still debited my account for the saw and when I queried it got told that I can only get my money back after the saw is back at their warehouse. It is now a week after the saw was delivered to the wrong address because of the mistake HD made which I notified them about and I still don’t have my money back. I spoke with a customer care representative and they told me that their policy say I get my money back once the item is back at their warehouse, even if it was not my fault. I asked then what if it takes 2 weeks to get back, well that is the time I will wait to get my money back. In the mean while I have to wait for my money until HD resolved their mess and my project has to be on hold until I have the money to buy another tile saw.
