Nabors Chevrolet Complaint - Fraud and poor service

Review by sloop on 2009-09-29
CLARKSDALE, ALABAMA -- My 2008 Chevy van with 20,000 miles broke down in Clarksdale, MS. I took it immediately to Nabors Chevrolet at 3:00 pm on a Friday. I explained I was 400 miles from home, and was totally stranded. They told me that they could do nothing until Monday. After explaining my situation, that fell on deaf ears, I ended up being stranded for three days. I drove it two blocks to a motel, where I stayed for three days. I arrived back to the dealer on Monday am at 6:30 am to make sure I would first in line. After they opened at 8:00 am, my van was "ready to go". The problem was only a fouled spark plug. This could have been repaired on Friday. To add insult to injury, I found out they had committed fraud against GM by not only charging for the warranty work, but that also charged GM for two-way shuttle service, which was NEVER provided, along with a charge for a rental car that I also did not receive. After trying to recoup my motel fare ONLY, I was told by the general manager Neil Draper, to take my complaint to GM. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!
