Bose Corporation Informative - QC2 High priced low quality headphones
I am a brand loyal consumer. I do not purchase cheap products.
When I purchased the QC2 Bose headphones I expected them to give me many years of service. I was happy with their noise canceling performance but the issue lies with the poor quality of components used. First issue was that the "vinyl" cushions on the ear pads started to breakdown and small specs of black were left on my face. To their credit after much negotiations Bose replaced the ear pads. Shortly after this though the small plastic part that allows the ear piece to swivel disintegrated. The ear phones were in their protective case when the breakage was discovered. Bose generously offered to charge me $275.00 to repair them but upon my reaction then said that they would offer me a new pair for $150.
I do not through good money after bad. All correspondence since has been ignored. Bose, you may have conned me once but will never con me twice.
